Making the most of our many years of experience in plastic-related work,
we will contribute to the realization of a vibrant society.

Supported by many of my colleagues, I was able to consistently continue my plastic-related work for over 40 years.
What I learned from many failures and successes is that it is important for business development to take into consideration synergies and time horizons through cooperation among experienced companies, research institutes, and engineers in each field.
Matching between corporations and support by experienced middle-aged engineers will help to create a competitive structure.

Akira Hasegawa, Senior Advisor of PLALINK Co., Ltd.

Akira Hasegawa was appointed Senior Advisor for PLALINK Co., Ltd. on August 1, 2020.
Throughout 40 plus years of being involved in the development, design, and business development of automotive tire manufacturing facilities, I always gave thought to where the true needs and market opportunities are.
In tire companies that are direct customers, the potential needs lay with the automotive companies and drivers who have needs for tires, as well as with the development trend of tire materials.
The market is not homogenous. Each region and customer has its own unique circumstances, and market research is a way to discover new opportunities to present keen proposals that would enable us to jump into varying markets. It is also critical to identify what is lacking and have a strong will to seek the means to overcome it.
By digging deep into the needs and markets, as well as through advanced "standby" development and solid intellectual property strategy, I hope to support business development that is “Niche but Rich”.

I would like to work together with my clients to achievethe ideal state of affairs.

Masaji Yoshimura,Senior Consultant of PLALINK Co., Ltd.

Masaji Yoshimura was appointed senior consultant on October 1, 2018.
In the field of thermoplastic resins, I have developed a wide range of resins, from general-purpose resins to super-engineering resins, as well as new thermosetting resins. I have developed these resins in a seed-oriented manner.
In terms of technology, the big data information processing technology required for AI, automated driving, etc. has come into the limelight in recent years. At the same time, in terms of management, I feel that visualization management methods for business goals and compliance have become more important.
On the other hand, in the field, I feel that there are rather many things that do not turn out as the textbook says. As we have to devote our limited resources to large-scale information processing and visualization methods, it seems that it is difficult to make concrete proposals from the point of view of the field.
In response to these changes in the environment, I would like to work together with my clients to achieve the ideal state of affairs.

Mitsuo Wada was appointed senior consultant on October 1, 2019.
I think that design is an act that embodies and connects the thoughts of the sender, who delivers a variety of messages, in order to realize the wonderful times that people want.
I believe that design has the power to induce courageous breakthroughs on the sender’s
side to create appealing transmissions.
In recent years, market and media information has been given priority, and I feel that the aspirations of the sender are not being conveyed. If we do not constantly challenge ourselves, we will not be able to create a new and wonderful world.
I would like to work with you all to enhance your ability to communicate with confidence.

How to respond to the paradigm-shift in the polymer manufacturing industry for the next 10 years.

ATA Seisuke,Senior Consultant of PLALINK Co., Ltd.

Starting with the concept of industry 4.0, which was advocated in 2011 in Germany, a large-scale development investment in manufacturing technologies such as“ Horizon Europe” in Europe and“ Made in China 2025” in China are causing a paradigm shift in manufacturing technology. So, how are Japan‘s superior plastic/polymer manufacturing technology and craftmanship connected 10 − 20 years from now? I am looking forward to thinking about that issue and finding the “best” solution.
